Which games do my friend and I both own on Steam?: Enter both profiles. Ready Up compares the two libraries and lists every multiplayer game you both own — Steam calls this "shared games", but Steam only shows it inside the client and mixes in single-player titles.
Does it work if a profile is private?: No. Steam only shares a game list when Game details is set to Public. The whole profile doesn't have to be public — just that setting.
What counts as "multiplayer"?: Anything Steam lists with online multiplayer, co-op, PvP, LAN, split-screen or Remote Play Together — plus a hand-checked list of games that community mods make multiplayer (BeamNG.drive via BeamMP, Subnautica via Nitrox, Skyrim via Skyrim Together, Hogwarts Legacy via HogWarp, and more — the full list with status and player counts). Those are marked "Via mod" and can be hidden with one filter. Single-player-only games are hidden everywhere in the app.
Does it include PC Game Pass?: Tick "We both have PC Game Pass" and the current Game Pass catalog is added to both libraries, matched to Steam data where the game exists on Steam.
How are new games recommended?: Each player's play history becomes a tag profile weighted by hours (so the 600-hour game outweighs the $2 bundle filler). Games neither of you own are scored by how well they fit both profiles, then by review score and how many people are playing right now.
Is it free? Do I need to log in?: Free, no account, no Steam login. It only reads public profile data through Steam's Web API.
